John E. Rapp is a native Wichitan. He graduated from Kapaun Mt. Carmel High School and Newman University. His father, David Rapp, is an extremely well-respected litigator who also practices in Wichita. Mr. Rapp received his Juris Doctorate from The University of Kansas School of Law in December, 2002 and was admitted to practice in Kansas in April 2003. He came to Hulnick Law Offices, P.A. in May, 2002, as a legal intern, the summer before he graduated. His passion for defending those accused of criminal conduct is obvious as he represents persons in court.
Mr. Rapp's practice includes civil and criminal litigation. He is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Wichita Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. He is President of the Wichita Young Lawyers' Association, a volunteer for the YMCA, and a frequent lecturer at the Wichita Intervention Program regarding the legal ramifications of drinking and driving. Mr. Rapp is also a member of the Criminal Justice Act Panel representing indigent persons accused of criminal conduct in the United States District Court for the District of Kansas. He is licensed to practice in municipal, state and federal courts in Kansas.
